Attend Networking Events

We organize monthly After Hours networking events that bring together professionals from various industries. These events provide an incredible opportunity to meet fellow Cougs, exchange ideas, and create meaningful connections.

To get the most out of these opportunities, we recommend that you:

• Make it a point to attend as many events in your geographic area as possible.
• Come prepared with a well-rehearsed elevator pitch that succinctly highlights your expertise and goals.

If exhibiting at a trade show or career expo is appropriate for your business, plan to purchase a booth space at one of our two annual shows in Greater Seattle or Spokane.

If your business does not lend itself to a booth to drive business, then you can still plan to attend our shows and network with the Cougs and businesses that are there.

Utilize the Business Directory – Cougle It!

The CougsFirst! Business Directory is a powerful tool that allows you to showcase your business and connect with other members.

Take the time to create a comprehensive and engaging profile in your member hub that highlights your skills, services, and achievements. Regularly update your profile with new information, such as recent projects or awards, to keep it fresh and appealing to potential partners or clients.

Engage & Collaborate with the Community

CougsFirst! intentionally collaborates with its members and purchases goods and services from our member businesses when possible. If someone asks us where to buy a service or product, we prioritize referrals for our member businesses.
